| AFROBEAT PRINCESS TENI ON COVER OF LIONHEART |
Teni is a jazz singer and composer who makes afrosoul. Upon hearing her
sultry and elegant jazz vocal, one is immediately reminded of the great
Sade Adu. She studied History at University College
London and she runs a fashion outfit in Lagos called The House of Makeda.
She is the lead singer for the Afro-Renaissance, and also appears from time to time with the Fela's Egypt 80. She is set to release the second single from her forthcoming album "Afrodisiac," titled "Lionheart." She is a BBC Introducing artist after getting airplay on several BBC shows, and has interest from several major labels in the UK.
