GET FAMILIAR: ANDREW BELLO REVISITS VINTAGE GOSPEL

Andrew Bello a.k.a Mr International was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa. He began singing at the age of 4. He pursued this talent further, honing his craft till the age of 15, and became the lead vocalist of the junior choir at his church back in Nigeria.

As a child, his dream was to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather - '70s music icon Samuel Adeoshun. Adeoshun was a renowned gospel music composer who became one of the first musicians to record African gospel music on vinyl.

Andrew Bello came into the limelight with his first single 'E WA BA MI JO' which was released in 2008, since then he has soared, raising enough buzz to prominence.  With his commitment, unique and inimitable style as well as sultry looks, he is on the verge to become one of the biggest stars emerging from the UK gospel music scene.

His proficient use of the Yoruba language in creating the medieval style hype on tracks is impressive, working with producers Olly Jay, Shabach, Marvin key lyric and Dami Dimention. The songwriter also co-produces the instrumentation used alongside producers.
