This is the 7th video off the #EMEAlbum.. the "Empire Mates State of Mind". Released in 2012, the album has churned out hit song after hit song, and epic video after epic video.

Now however, the EME All stars take a break from their more up tempo feel-good songs, to address the situation in their home country, Nigeria. Teaming up with the International Republican Institute (I.R.I), McNally Temple Associates (MTA) and the Nigerian Leadership Initiative (NLI), the "Change" clip, sees the EME team speaking on the problems in Nigeria, and attempting to inspire young Nigerians to be a part of the change they seek in their country.

Directed by Clarence Peters, the video features each member of EME speaking their minds, and it also features footage from some of the incidents that occurred in Nigeria in 2012. The video for "Change" sets the tone for the much larger and more in-depth Documentary "#Dream4Naija" which was directed by Ray McNally of MTA, and funded by IRI and USAID. The documentary (which will be aired on TV Stations across Africa and online on youtube) also seeks to inspire young Nigerians and Africans to get involved and be a part of the change they seek.

Hope you are inspired by watching the clip. Change is inevitable. Be a part of the change, or get changed yourself.

CHRIS BROWN FANS THREATEN TO KILL JENNY JOHNSON

Chris Brown got beaten by a woman on Sunday, quitting Twitter after lobbing sexist insults at Houston-based comedy writer Jenny Johnson. Like clockwork Brown's army of fans (Team Breezy) has sprung into action, showering Johnson with a tornado of constructive and gentle notes about why they are upset with her. Oh who are we kidding, they WANT TO KILL HER.

"It's alarming how many death threats I'm receiving via @ replies," she wrote Monday morning. "I encourage everyone, including @Twitter to look through them. Not cool."

Indeed, the vitriol being directed at Johnson isn't pleasant and crosses into some scary territory. So in the spirit of public shaming, and to provide a good document for possible future employers of these individuals, here's a collection of the most blood-thirstiest, stabbiest, unstable-est members of Brown's loyal team.

IS LIL WAYNE RETIRING FROM MUSIC

Weezy contemplating retirement
On this February 19, 2013 Lil Wayne will release the highly anticipated sequel to his 2010 album I Am Not a Human Being. Yet despite this news of the LP's impending release, Weezy says he may soon call it quits on his music career.
In a recent interview with MTV, Lil Wayne said that he's planning to retire from making music after releasing Tha Carter V, the fifth instalment of his critically acclaimed series. The New Orleans rapper explained that in his decade-plus professional career in Hip Hop, his interests have expanded to other activities while his passion for recording tunes has increasingly waned.
"I know y'all want me around for a little bit, [but] Tha Carter V is my last album," he revealed. "I've been rapping since I was 8 years old; I'm 30 now. That's a long time, and I like to do so many more things, and when I like to do something, I end up loving to do it real quick. And I love to do something, I'm fully focused on it and it only, and music sometimes is not that 'it.'"

LAWALE FT DEMMY-DISTANCE

The song "
Distance" as produced by Cobhams Asuquo was recorded by Lawale, a singer, song-writer and guitarist who has been on the music scene for a while.

Having previously worked with some of the finest producers in Nigeria, Lawale brings on board a fellow artiste by the name Demmy [who we would recall from his recently released "Tuale" track] and they both apply nothing short of pure finesse on a song that analyses the outcome of distant relationships.

Laced on beautifully patterned instruments, Lawale comes through like a perfectionist, and the same goes for Demmy, another wonderful R'n'B singer we should watch out for.

Kudos to both singers, as well asCobhams Asuquo for churning out a song that would come as a breather to the Nigerian music scene of today and would definitely remain on the playlist of music lovers.
