Drake Talks Marrying Nicki Minaj, Being Hurt by Rihanna, and Never Having a Threesome

In the latest  issue of Elle, Drake speaks on everything except music and his upcoming Take Care album. That means lots of chatter about love, sex, and relationships, which gives some context to the emotional banter found in his records. Drizzy talks about his relationships with Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, the type of woman his mother wants him to marry, never having more than one girl in bed at a time, and more. Read the excerpts below.
On loneliness:
"When you're on the road and moving city to city, when someone isn't there at the end of the night, you feel empty. The 15 or 20 seconds after a man reaches his climax is the realest moment he'll ever have in his life. And if you happen to be with somebody that isn't someone you want to converse with, you start feeling like, I wish I was just here watching True Blood by myself."
On his fake Twitter marriage to Nicki Minaj:
"I don't know if we were really pretending. I'd marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me."
On bringing girls home to mom:
"The most intense thing I've ever done was bring a girl to Passover dinner. [My mom] just wants me to be happy, but I'm sure she'd love it if I married a Jewish girl."
On receiving naked pictures:
"If you send them without me asking, it's like, You've done this before. But I'm away a lot. If there's a woman I'm into, I might want to get a picture from her to handle business myself, as opposed to doing something I might regret."
On threesomes:
"I've never had one. I swear. I'm a one-woman kind of guy."
On being hurt by Rihanna:
"At the time it hurt, but she didn't mean to. I'll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realize what it was. I guess I thought it was more. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind. You spend days reading about this person in magazines. All of a sudden you have this number-one song and you're at some birthday party and there she is. And you're just some naive kid from Toronto staying in some shitty-ass hotel who got invited to this party on a whim. That's just how it happened."

VIDEO PREMIERE: MO'CHEDDAH - SEE ME FT PHENOM

There’s one noticeable thing about Mo’Cheddah; right from the very start of her career, the rapper/singer has been portrayed to play matured roles even though her her music is driven towards the teen market.
The pop princess has so accustomed herself with the ‘older roles’, we forget she’s one album (Franchise Celebrity) fresh in the music scene. Well, a 2010 MAMA andChannel O clearly shows that she and her record label know what’s best for her.
The video to ‘See me’ continues down that lane and with the artful direction of Clarence Peters, the four-minute further brings the song to life. Mo’ isn’t afraid to show a little skin…thus the envelope being pushed further. Lovely video!

New Singles from eLDee the Don; Wash Wash and Today Today

eLDee the Don is back with two fresh singles after dropping his 1st single off his forthcoming album; Undeniable. Wash Wash is a playful/catchy tune and you will probably cram some of the lines and regurgitate in some of your conversations down the line. As for Today Today, it sounds like a JAM to me and has party (owambe and club setting). I think this single, Today Today is in the mould of a classic, the type that keeps an album fresh years later. This song will definitely serve weddings for sometime to come

Listen to the tracks and enjoy. Enjoy the downloads below as well.
Both tracks produced by Sarz

Drake Talks Being Bested By Jay-Z At The Grammy Awards, J. Cole Leak

Drizzy explains why losing to "D.O.A." was particularly painful, and how his album leak compared to J. Cole's.Though Drake's upcoming album, Take Care, is highly-anticipated, the Toronto emcee is still haunted by some heights his career has yet to reach.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Drizzy discussed not yet winning a Grammy.
"I've always been fascinated with the Grammys, so I don't mean disrespect when I say this, but I've kind of given up on them," he revealed. "If I ever get one, or when I get one, I'll be ecstatic, because that's a recurring dream I've had since I was a kid: That my mother's still alive and that I'm onstage accepting a Grammy, and I get to thank her on that stage. But it's tough. They can never really break their mold."

One loss, however, stuck out to him, was to one of the songs off of Jay-Z Blueprint 3, an album on which Drake was featured. "[T]he one that really got to me was when I lost to 'D.O.A.' for 'Best I Ever Had.' That one to me was, like, really? Not to say that Jay-Z isn't the most incredible rapper and that 'D.O.A.' wasn't a good song. I just felt like they had an option to give me a Grammy for a mixtape, and they just didn't do it [laughs]. Because it goes against the grain of everything that is traditional."

"I don't measure my success anymore by the Grammys. I can't because I'll just end up crushed. And, not to be offensive, I just feel it's political. Would I love to win a Grammy? Sure. Will I win one after that comment? Probably not."

Drake also addressed his album leak, which was compared to J. Cole's Cole World: A Sideline Story leak. " Giving people the opportunity to judge before they go and buy, that can only help. There's a fan base that's going to go and support you just based off the fact that they want to own a copy of your material, and they know what it means to give you that one sale, and the hope is that there's another hundred, 200, 300, 400, 500,000 people that are going do the same thing. And then there's the people who heard it that night and were like, 'Yo, I need to support this . . . I need to own this.'"

Papi Brings You The Drama! 11-11-11

Song Premieres seem to dime-a-dozen these days, with many of the song not worth the attention given to them. Judging from what I heard; a sonic effusion and violin rev in the background set the tempo for an upbeat and youthful song, 'FineBoy Drama' by Papi Aka the Drama boy, self acclaimed Prince Charming opens the vista into what Afropop can be.

I would have been dissapointed if this had gone a notch below par compared to his effort on "Make Me Craze" where he featured Terry G. This is definitely way above his earlier effforts.

Matching lyrics suffused with youthful exuberance and street-wise lingo made it an effortless sing-along. The title reflects the thematic underlining; the drama associated with being different, with having a special aura and the drama that comes with being good looking. I hope he lives up to the aura he projected in the song.

Papi holds a double degree in Mass Communication and Linguistic from University of Port-Harcourt, is a protégé of OJB Jeezrel; he learned the rudiments of music, especially notation and renaissance ensemble under him.

Here I present to you the most anticipated single “FINE BOY DRAMA" please enjoy!

Rihanna rushed to hospital with flu Star cancels Sweden gig

RIHANNA was forced to cancel her concert last night after she was hospitalised with a flu virus.

The star, who was due to play in Malmo, Sweden, apologised to fans and posted a picture on Twitter of an IV drip hooked up to her arm.
In a statement she said: "I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all."
The 23-year-old added: "It would have been a great time... so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there".
The Bajan singer is on the final leg of her Loud Tour, which kicked off in June.
It is not known whether Rihanna will be well enough to perform in Stockholm on Today.
